The Lighthouse Library is a cozy learning space where you’ll find essays, ideas, stories, and tools to help you publish your work-in-progress ideas and unfinished drafts – no niching, no AI, no outdates "best" marketing practices.
It is created with micro & small business owners in mind; people like you who are also writers and creators, and who want to publish their ideas consistently, with confidence.
With my knowledge of the online publishing world and content management, I help you create but, more importantly, publish high quality long form content that will help you contribute meaningfully to conversations happening within your field. My goal is to encourage you to publish content you are proud to share, both because it makes sense in the context of your business and because it doesn’t box you in a niche that SEO and social media often demand us to stick to.
I chose the name the Lighthouse Library, hoping to be a lighthouse keeper who turns on the light so you can navigate your way to building your own beautiful, insightful body of work – your digital library.

✨ About me 🐢
My name is Ely (reads like Ellie), I am a 30-something with a lifelong love for languages, communication, and ideas. I hold a BA in translation, and an MA in linguistics, which I rarely mention but somehow here feels right.
I have been working with online publishing and content management for 8+ years. Most significantly, I was the editorial director for a publication that gathered up to 100,000 monthly readers without an SEO strategy (gasp!).
Instead, we focused on high quality writing, original thinking, and a clear editorial line. I worked with amazingly talented people who gained confidence from working with us, where we edited their written pieces in a collaborative, kind, and supportive way to give their ideas a global reach. Some of those writers went on to launch their own blogs and newsletters, gaining recognition and professional fulfillment in their fields along the way.
Today I am working on opening my own consultancy, at the crossroads between communication strategy and digital publishing, to provide that same support.
I live in Gothenburg, Sweden with my Argentinian partner, our toddler L, and our skogkatt Pygmy (she is very fluffy).
